Easter visitors!

Toni's mom, Trish, and her husband Tom were here for the Easter weekend, to escape the freezing temps of the frigid Atlanta clime. So in good Southern fashion we had five dogs in the house, too.
We ate like kings and queens, with fresh caught shrimp, mussels and lobsters...YUM! Tom treated us all to lunch at a great local seafood shack, which is the rave in Gulf Breeze.
Trish also got me an early birthday gift, which was very thoughtful: Guitar Hero II for the XBOX (Toni is currently rocking out on it as I type!)
Trish got us more than a few house-warming gifts for her first visit to the new house: lots of beautiful flowers and plants for our sorely needing landscaping. Thanks, Mom!
They got a fun little romp in the Vette, too, before they left. It's always good to slam through the gears once in a while (I don't need much excuse to take out the vette.)

Blane and Evan came to visit the week before Easter, and then returned for the Easter Sunday night and following Monday. Toni set out lots of cookies and M&M's for them, which, of course, were enjoyed by all. Blane was doing pretty good until he accidentally got locked out of the house and slept in his rental car... luckily he didn't freeze to death. Blane, why was it again you didn't call me to get in?
Evan also had an Easter basket, too, full of some fun sugary sweets and a little stuffed animal.
Evan, Blane and his new girlfriend, Crystal, with her kids and family friends all stopped by for a BBQ dinner and dessert.
The kids all played Xbox for hours...smashing up Ferrari's on the racetrack, and rockin' out on Guitar Hero.
It was a great day and we had the opportunity to get to know Crystal as the sweet Christian lady which Blane has told us all about.
It was a super weekend, and church had a great Easter service, with great worship and message: "Who are you looking for?", which is one of Christ's great questions he asked of Mary weeping at the tomb. Today, he poses the same question to all of us. Who are you looking for? He is Risen!
