Little Angel left us on Good Friday

Our littlest little dog, Angel, which we rescued as a runaway in November, passed away on Friday from GI obstruction. We learned from the vet on base that she had GI problems essentially since birth three years ago, and no treatment could be found.
She finally succumbed to her illnesses, but while she was here with us, she sure brightened up our life. On her few good days, she was a perky, loving dog. She would "bow" to you when you came close... very Japanese, we would say. :)
Once in a while, if she was feeling well, she wanted to walk around the block, and never needed a leash. She loved new people and would go up to them to say hello, and always bow if they reached down to pet her.

In the mornings, after being downstairs with Toni for breakfast, she would come back upstairs, and want to hop back into bed to cuddle with me before I had to get up. One of her cute little rituals she did everyday.

Toni and I really grew to love her along with the other dogs in the family.

Goodbye, Angel, you will be missed...
