June happenins' and visit of Miss Evan Rings

For a weekend in June, we took a quick Summer holiday in Atlanta. Trish and Tom were gone for a couple weeks to Scotland, and it was a good time to go up and help watch her dogs and just relax in Altanta. We loved just driving around looking at homes and dreaming of one day retiring in the Alpharetta area. Andy Stanley is a great minister there with one of the most awesome churches around, which is a huge draw besides being local to Toni's mom and Tom.
After that weekend, we picked up Evan, our niece, for a few days to spend at our house before she flew on to Illinois to be with her dad, Blane. She's full of energy (loves to climb trees), and super-sweet little lady. She's always a pleasure to have around!!
