We had a blast swimming in the cement pond and hikin' for critters in the nature preserve across the street.
Blane got to experience "Joe Patti's", the seafood shop where the boats pull up right there for the freshest fish on the Gulf. We had ribeye steaks and shrimp kabobs... Those were tasty!!!
Blane pitched in with some of the chores around the acreage, and helped lay down some weed control fabric. It sure is nice to have a "hired hand" around the place, HA!
His daughter, Mary Hayden (aka "Scout") is coming for this weekend, and flies back to Ohio from Pensacola on Monday... should be fun!
