Blue Angel's "Fat Albert" Ride

We travelled to Alpharetta, Georgia for my birthday this year. Top on the list that weekend was a scheduled flight with the Blue Angel's "Fat Albert" C-130 demonstration plane. The crew was great and let me sit in the cockpit for the flight. What a spectacular ride! A JATO (Jet Assisted Take Off) really put me back in the seat for an 11 second 45 degree climb... wow! Then at the top, the pilot pushed the nose over to level, giving us a couple seconds of zero-G's... I was floating in my seat belt! Then a bunch of hard banks right and left, some high-speed passes and an aggressive dive-in for a short-field landing... too cool!!
